My Lucky Star quilt was back from the quilters - notice I said quilters.....we have two sisters that do quilting for us at the shop. Without exaggerating I have to say they are amazing....the quilting is so beautiful! You can click to enlarge the picture and see the wonderful feathers they put around the stars.

Not much going on this weekend. A few bindings ready to go, and more Thanksgiving planning. Time to dig out the Turkey day recipes. I have a wonderful make ahead gravy recipe that was my moms that is made with turkey wings, so I need to get them ordered from the butcher. I worked on my chocolate swappers package tonight, so I need to get that finished up... oh yeah, and fill it to brim with yummy chocolate! Well it's way past my bedtime! Later gators!

The fabrics are Aunt Grace Scrap Bag from the collection of Judie Rothermel. I'll get you the gravy recipe. It's nice to have it made ahead without the worry of lumps!
Chocolate coming soon :-)!

Good to hear from you Kim! The quilt in the corner is a pinwheel
quilt that is actually done in rows. Great way to use up scraps!

Hey, I have that quilt! Mine is done in 30's fabrics though. I have the top all done, but for some reason, it's still sitting right where I last left it which is . . . I don't know! I really should get that thing out and get it quilted. I like the colors in that one there!

Wow -- that's a beautiful quilt! I've always loved that pattern and I really like it in those fabrics. And you're right -- the quilting is beautiful!

The quilt in the corner was a class at the shop a number of years ago Darlene. One of the girls figured out how to do it in rows so there are no set in pieces.
There are lots of tricky matching
points, but with millions of pins it went together like a dream :-)!
