Christmas Through The Year Post

012  Here’s my March Christmas project…a 12 X 12 seasonal mat that I am going to give as a candle mat.  The pattern is available here, and includes 5 other holiday seasonal mat patterns.  Thanks to Allie’s great idea, we are all getting a huge jump on Christmas presents.  If you’d like to see what others are working on check here….and even better think about joining in for April!  Thanks Allie for hosting this club.
I have also been working on something very “eggciting”013 ……..notice the cute rick rack!  Fingers crossed it’s finished tonight.  My friend Carol gifted me with a very cute candle mat…..
002

Confession time..I have the kit but she knows me so well and the chance of me getting it done wasn’t looking too good.  Now I’m thinking I need to pay it forward and gift my kit to someone, or maybe a giveaway!!!!
Our weather in Cali is just strange…today it was 90 degrees…seriously???? 90 degrees on March 31??  I’m thinking the summer is going to be a doozy!!  Happy evening everyone.

I love the Christmas mat...but I can't find the pattern on link of the website...Can you tell me the name of the pattern/book? I'm jealous that you are getting a head start on holiday gifts!

High temps here, as well. Ugh!

Cute mat from your friend, Carol.

I LOVE it! I love seeing Christmas gifts that look like Christmas - but was it weird to make in March? I'll have to try it in July if it's hot, lol.

Love the rick rack, can't wait to see what you're making. Darling candle mat! How good of her to make it for you. Try to stay cool and please, please send some of that warmth my way! Not all, just some...

Both the candle mats look great! I haven't even thought about Christmas yet. I've been stuck making birthday presents! LOL

Love that candle mat...and it is just so cute. I will probably miss your giveaway while I take buddy to see Mickey Mouse...slow down your sew, girly! :) Just teasing. Did you try that chicken recipe that I posted? It is just your style (and mine)...easy.
