We are back tonight from a great week in Yosemite. I just can’t get over how beautiful it is and pictures just can’t seem to capture the grandeur of it all…especially my pictures :-)!
We had so much fun and part of the time our girl and her guy were with us. Here they are hiking up
Although I have to say the view from where we were was mighty pretty!!
A breathtaking view of Half Dome. Mr. P, our girl and her guy made the hike to North Dome. I stayed at camp and did some cutting……..
The first three blocks for the Designer BOM are cut and ready to go. Then there was some time left for reading. Loved this book. Good thing their hike was almost all day, because I just couldn’t put it down!
Home tonight and back to reality, or I should say laundry but thankfully I’m almost done! Waiting for me in the stack of mail was a box from my Santa Sack partner Amanda.

I went to Yosemite when I was 10, but I don't remember much. I'd love to go back there now that I'm old enough to appreciate it! Thanks for the great pictures! :0)

Yosemite is BEAUTIFUL !!! We went there for our 2nd anniversary and stayed in those half cabin half tents; rode mules along some VERY narrow paths and did lots of hiking (that was 24 years ago - YIKES !) Anyhow, glad you had a nice time with family and also had some fun "me time" with your quilt block and your book - PERFECT !!!

Oh you lucky girl. I love the National Parks, but haven't ever made it to Yosemite. It's on my bucket list. Sounds like you had a great time!

I cannot believe that you were in my backyard and I didn't get a chance to meet you!!! Yosemite is a wonderful place. I am glad you got to enjoy it!
OH, wasn't Yosemite awesome. It was one of my favorite places we visited in May. Love the photo of your girl in the field of flowers.
