One Lunch Bag Done *** BOM Rehab Report***Christmas Through The Year

002 I started out last week with a lot of ambition..three Lunch Bags finished by the end of the week…no problem. There’s that ov014erly optimistic part of me again. But one bag done feels good. Most of the bag is made out of the new line from Riley Blake, Stars and Stripes. The stars on the rim are another line. I used the tutorial from Ayumi over at Pink Penguin…..it’s a WONDERFUL tutorial, very easy to follow. All three bags will be my Christmas Through The Year gifts for the month…so the other two have to get done!!!

Rehab is going well and I can report that I have another Fat Quarter Shop 2011 BOM finish011 .

Block 8 done!!! Yippee, and happy dance, happy dance. Thanks so much Sinta for being our REHAB leader!

It’s crazy that there is only one week left in April…time is flying for sure. But there is still time to get a gift or two done for Christmas. Darlene will have Mr. Linky up on April 30th for you to link up what you have made! 005_thumb[2] You will be entered in the drawing for a chance to win this mini bow tie quilt…yikes, I still need to do that binding :-)!!!

Happy week everybody!

You put me to shame with your sewing projects all completed. I am hoping to get some sewing time soon. I have been so darn busy with other things, and grandkids, and Easter, and all of that, but I am missing my sewing room!!!!
Happy week to you Cheryl!

Such Kindred Spirits you and I !!! I have the Ayumi bag all cut out and in a project bag. Hopefully as soon as I finish the bumper pads, crib skirt and a truck load of bibs and burpies ( this baby is coming so quickly), I will get to it. Thanks for the nudge...and encouragement!!! XXX

Oh you got hit with that annoying overly optimistic fairy dust! Well done on finishing one, great effort. Though I am also cheering you on if you really feel you must push yourself to get the other two finished, lol.
You are powering along with the bom.
