FSNI Report

045 The old girl changed up my plans a bit….something is wonky with my machine and after fiddling with it for quite a bit I decided sewing on my machine wasn’t in the the cards .

Working on customer bindings seemed to be a good second choice….this one047 finished and then there was some time to get started on another…   048

so I’m calling the evening a success!

The last couple days have been filled with lots of fun with the Dots.  Today bubble chasing was the favorite thing to do021 !!!

I suppose I will be making a visit to my favorite machine repair guy…or fingers crossed it just starts working again.  My Simple Things Quilt Along blocks are waiting to be pieced!!!

Wishing all the dads out there a very happy Father’s Day!!!

So sad about your machine. Mine just stopped a while back and the lady at the sewing shop said I should always unplug it when I walk away because we get little bumps in the power here. I was glad that it was just a matter of put a new globe in. For some reason the blown globe stopped everything. The bound quilts look great. A wonderful effort for FNSI. I still love bubbles. A couple of Christmases ago I bought santa bubble bottles and me, mum and the two grown up daughters blew bubbles and ran around :) Your grandson looks like he is having a lot of fun.

Oh sadness! I hope your machine just needs a simple tweak. Oh I love bubbles...nothing better than bubbles and little people!

Hope your machine gets better soon, silly question to ask but have you given it a darn good clean, new needle etc? Said it was silly, of course you have. A trip to the service centre for a good oil and deep clean will probably have it up and runnimg in no time.

Oh no not machine troubles! Good for you on finishing bindings though, at least you found something productive to do. Chasing bubbles sounds like great fun!!

Oooh, sorry to hear about your machine -- I hope it gets fixed in a hurry. At least you were able to make great use of your time!!!

I've had my fair share of machine problems over the years too - they always seem to happen when you have important projects that need to get finished, or deadlines to meet! I hope your machine spontaneously uncombusts and starts working properly - maybe it just needed a coffee break! ;)

Good for you getting the bindings finished - on to the next project(s) now, YAY!

Hope nothing serious is wrong with your machine.
Chasing bubbles is always fun.
