We couldn’t have had a prettier spot. This was the view from our place. We are so excited to bring the whole family here. Notice the cool playground off in the distance…the Dots will love that. There’s a big water slide, canoe and kayak rentals, fishing and even a Frisbee golf course….all perfect for our family. Wednesday I met up with my friend Lani and we had a very, very scrumptious lunch, not to mention tons of talking that got done :-)!
A little quilting disappointment. I was working on my pumpkin quilt. Sewed four rows completely and then starting attaching them. First row on I was having to do some extra stretching and easing….second row on it got worse. UGH!!!!!! I know this rule….don’t use two different machines when working on a project. Apparently my Bernina and my Featherweight (which I use when we camp) don’t sew the same l/4 inch seam, so I spent a few hours reverse sewing everything I had sewn. Now I will be working on my pumpkin quilt for the Friday Night Sew-In tomorrow night.

Waving a quick hello.....spending most of my time with Meghan. She is doing WELL !!! The surgeon was impressed with her healing and when she is MORE healed, she can evaluate the rest. We are grateful for all good news. Hugs to you and off to work I go!!!!
What a beautiful spot...glad you had fun. Hve a great time with the Dots over the weekend! ENJOY!
What a gorgeous place!!! It sounds really fun. Sorry to hear about your reverse sewing, ugh, I hate that so much. Enjoy your weekend Cheryl!
Looks like a fun place to visit! I had the same problem when I was working on my Polka Dot girls. When I started, I didn't have a quarter inch foot but I thought I was making a quarter inch seam. Then when I got my quarter inch foot and started sewing, nothing matched up. I had to do some unsewing and remade one block, but it all worked out in the end! :0)
what a beautiful place you visited! Sorry about all the reverse sewing you had to do. That's no fun.
Oh, what a great place to go camping.
