Made it to Harrisonburg last night and woke up to a very pretty Fall morning. We headed out bright an
d early to Appomattox to visit the McLean home where Lee surrendered to Grant. So much history and so much to take it. I couldn’t resist taking a picture of the room with the quilt! Now we are in North Carolina, and are headed out in a bit for pizza. Tomorrow it’s on to Nags Head and Kitty Hawk. Happy Wednesday everyone.
