Squeaking in here, but I am so excited that I finished Leap Year. Vintage
Modern has a spell over me. I am already thinking what can I make next out of it!!! Sherri and Sinta will have the parade of Schnibbles up in a day or two. It’s always so much fun to see the different fabrics used each month……and also it will be very exciting to see which pattern they pick for July!
June….seriously June?! I think we say this each month, but time is just flying by. My gifties for this month were fun and super easy to make, and once again out of one of my favorite fabrics…. Countdown To Christmas. I think I will be whipping up some more of these. Next time probably reversing the direction of one of the hot pads! Darlene will have Mr. Linky up tomorrow, and if you link up you will be entered in the drawing for a chance to win this tote bag….along with a couple little goodies tucked inside.
This next finish I am super, duper excited about. I started this quilt about 8 years ago, had it quilted 2 years later only to find I didn’t have binding to go with. Every now and then I would try to match up fabric to use as binding, and nothing ever worked. I couldn’t even find the fabric online. The quilt got tucked away and I really forgot about it. Last month on my way to quilt camp, I stopped at a quilt shop and there sitting in a sale bin was 1/2 yard of the exact same blue fabric marked at $2.00. SCORE!!!!!!!! A big old happy dance and a great finish!
We had a wonderful 4 days away…..very lazy and relaxing. The view was amazing…the picture not so good. We had a few friends stop by just to check out what was going on…very low key guests!!! All my finishes were thanks to the four relaxing days….and a couple wonderful golf days for Mr. P too!! Happy weekend everyone.

Whoo Hoo for Cheryl, getting stuff done. Did you
Iike making that bag? I've seen lots of bloggers making them but I haven't tried making one yet. Glad you had a nice vacation. Me and you are Vintage Modern crazies. My Christmas gift for this month is the tote bag I made from Vintage Modern.
What fantastic finishes...OMG I love those oven mitts...and the little bag is so darn cute...your Leap year is yummy and YIPPEE a UFO bites the dust! I'm so glad you had a good time on your getaway...relaxing is a very good thing.
How productive you've been! Doesn't it geel great to have those finishes? The bag is adorable. Be sure to draw my name.
How wonderful you were finally able to finish that beautiful quilt! And I'm still wondering where May went...I don't even want to think about the fact that June is gone now too! LOL
Wow, Miss Cheryl, you had a super productive month WooHoo!!!
Love everything - as usual. :-)

Great pics! You are so going to be ready for Christmas. And I am not!!!
I am not familiar with the camping spot you mentioned. But would love to learn more about it. It is nice to have close places to run off to on the spur of the moment.
XO Kris
Good for you! You really made June count.
Wow, you really have been on fire this month. I adore the oven mitts, it is sucha great fabric range. And whoohoo for finally finding the binding and finishing the quilt, I love it when the perfect thing shows up!
Oh and thanks for the reminder that it is June, surely the months are racing by fast enough without me jumping ahead, golly!
Your UFO quilt looks lovely.
Oh, you're making me want to cut into my Countdown to Christmas stack. I hoarded some last year, but am afraid I didn't get enough. LOL. And three cheers for finding fabric to finish your pretty quilt! You are very patient! You had a very productive month - that Schnibbles looks amazing in Vintage Modern and I am somewhat smitten with your lunch bag - I need to make some of those.
